Ratchets

Ratchets – Professional Unior Hand Tools

A ratchet is a hand tool that drives sockets to quickly loosen and tighten bolts and nuts without lifting the tool off the fastener. Its toothed gear and pawl mechanism transmits torque in one direction while the handle swings freely on the return stroke, dramatically speeding up work in the workshop, garage and at home.

This category features only genuine ratchets from the renowned manufacturer Unior, available in every standard square drive size: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1". Each ratchet is supplied as a single piece (not a set).

Types of ratchets we offer
  • Reversible ratchets – work both clockwise and counter-clockwise, with a secure socket-locking system.
  • One-way ratchets – rugged build for high loads; direction is changed by turning the square drive.
  • Flex-head ratchets – the head tilts up to 90° in 22.5° steps for easy access in tight, hard-to-reach spaces.
Why choose Unior ratchets
  • Made of premium tool steel (Premium Flex), cold-forged body, fully reinforced and hardened.
  • Precise 75-tooth mechanism with a small 4.8° working angle for confined spaces.
  • Surface chrome-plated to ISO 1456:2009 (trivalent plating) for corrosion protection.
  • Ergonomic two-component handle for a secure grip, manufactured to the ISO 3315 standard.
  • Unior lifetime manufacturer warranty.
How to choose the right ratchet

Match the drive size to the sockets you use: 1/4" for fine and electronics work, 3/8" for general-purpose use, 1/2" as the most common choice for automotive repairs, and 3/4" and 1" for heavy industrial applications requiring high torque. For work in confined areas, choose a flex-head ratchet.
