What are socket wrenches and what are they used for?
Sockets are cylindrical attachments that fit onto a ratchet or bar and are used to quickly and efficiently tighten and loosen bolts and nuts. Because their shape grips the bolt head on all sides, they distribute force evenly, prevent rounding of the edges and allow work even in tight spaces. Made of high-quality chrome-vanadium steel (CrV), they offer durability and resistance to high loads, making them an essential tool in every workshop, garage and service center.

Choosing a socket primarily depends on the size of the square drive. The 1/4" drive is intended for precise, light work and work in tight spaces.
