Socket wrenches

What are socket wrenches and what are they used for?
Sockets are cylindrical attachments that fit onto a ratchet or bar and are used to quickly and efficiently tighten and loosen bolts and nuts. Because their shape grips the bolt head on all sides, they distribute force evenly, prevent rounding of the edges and allow work even in tight spaces. Made of high-quality chrome-vanadium steel (CrV), they offer durability and resistance to high loads, making them an essential tool in every workshop, garage and service center.
Drive sizes: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4"
Choosing a socket primarily depends on the size of the square drive. The 1/4" drive is intended for precise, light work and work in tight spaces. The 3/8" drive is a universal choice for most service jobs. The 1/2" drive is the most popular size for demanding work and higher tightening torque, while 3/4" is used for the heaviest industrial applications.
Types of sockets
Our range includes hex (6-point) sockets that grip best and prevent damage to the bolt, and bi-hex (12-point) sockets that allow faster engagement at different angles. For demanding work there are impact sockets for pneumatic and impact drivers, long (deep) sockets for hard-to-reach places, as well as special Torx and hex profiles and spark plug sockets.
Socket sets and kits
Socket sets in a case are the most popular choice because a single package brings all the sizes you need together with a ratchet, extensions, a universal joint and bit adapters. Such kits cover most metric dimensions and are ideal for both home use and professionals. With us you will find both individual sockets and complete sets from trusted manufacturers.
