Aluminium ferrule for swaging steel wire rope DIN 3093

The aluminium ferrule (swage sleeve) for steel wire rope DIN 3093 is used to create permanent terminations and loops (eyes) on steel cable. The ferrule is slid onto the rope and then permanently deformed under pressure (swaging / crimping), firmly gripping the rope for a reliable, secure connection.
