Marine corrugated exhaust hose (RINA), steel-helix reinforced

The marine corrugated exhaust hose is a flexible rubber hose with an embedded steel helix, designed for the exhaust systems of water-cooled (wet) marine engines and also suitable for cooling heat exchangers on boats. The corrugated wall allows tight bends and easy routing in confined engine bays without kinking, while the steel helix holds the hose shape and prevents it from collapsing under vacuum.

The inner rubber tube is made from a special synthetic rubber resistant to exhaust gases and seawater, reinforced with high-tensile textile plies and an embedded steel helix. The outer cover is self-extinguishing rubber resistant to abrasion, heat, oils, fuels and marine agents. The hose withstands working temperatures from -30 °C to +100 °C and a working pressure up to 3 bar.

It is manufactured to SAE J2006 R2 and ISO 13363 Type 2 Class B standards and complies with Lloyd's Register and RINA classification society approvals, ensuring reliability and quality for professional marine installations. It is available in inner diameters from 19 mm to 305 mm, covering a wide range of exhaust systems – from smaller outboard setups to large inboard diesel engines. The hose is sold per running metre (1 m).
