Genuine (OE) mirror shackle – the connecting tab of the mirror arm, manufactured by Mercedes-Benz, part number A6708110049 (A 670 811 00 49). This is a true Mercedes-Benz part in original packaging, not an aftermarket replacement.

The metal tab connects and secures the exterior mirror arm and is also used when retrofitting a wide-angle mirror to the cab. It is replaced when the old shackle is bent, corroded or cracked, which makes the mirror vibrate and lose its setting.
