The Beru GE101 ISS glow plug heats the combustion chamber so the diesel engine starts reliably in cold weather. A weak or burnt-out plug shows up as hard starting in winter, white smoke on start-up and rough running for the first few minutes. It is a rapid-heating plug from the Beru ISS line, designed for unit injector (UIS) engines.
