Iskra 11.720.503 flame start glow plug, 9.5 V M20x1.5 – Iveco Daily, Fiat Ducato and Renault Master 2.5/2.8 D

The Iskra 11.720.503 flame start glow plug is not a conventional in-cylinder glow plug – it is fitted in the intake manifold and ignites fuel to warm the intake air during cold starting. It is rated at 9.5 V with an M20x1.5 thread.

This cold-start system is used by older 2.5 and 2.8 litre Iveco and Sevel diesel vans. When the flame heater fails, the vehicle becomes very hard to start in winter and smokes heavily for the first few minutes.
