A manual fuel primer bulb (hand siphon pump) used to start fuel flow and transfer fuel through low-pressure lines. Squeezing the rubber bulb generates suction that draws fuel through the hose; releasing it allows the body to return to its original shape and continue priming. An integrated one-way (check) valve prevents backflow, and an embossed arrow on the body marks the flow direction.
The bulb body is made of fuel- and oil-resistant rubber, with metal (aluminium-alloy) hose barbs at both ends. The stepped, ribbed barbs grip standard fuel hose firmly; using metal hose clamps is recommended for a fully leak-tight connection.
